Ahead of progress with excellent work

     


    Every year on May 1, Filipinos nationwide celebrate Labor Day to honor their commitment to hard work. "Araw ng mga Manggagawa" is how it is referred to in Filipino. In the Philippines, people unwind and spend the day with their loved ones. Labor movements and parades are a component of the festivities in Malacanang (the former American Governor's mansion, now the Presidential palace), as well as in significant cities like Manila. Their complaints, which include the minimum wage, cruel working conditions, and other problems that impair employee rights, are brought to light by these activities. On this day, every diligent Filipino is honored, regardless of their line of work.    

    Commemorating this day is the same as respecting our hardworking compatriot. Labor Day is most commonly associated with the commemoration of the events and the achievements that happened on the labor day movement. We must not forget this day, because this day is the day where we recognize the contribution of every workers.

       With the celebration of National Clean Up Month me and my friends decided to participate with it by engaging simple clean up drives into our community. Simple contribution to our environment can give a big impact, even with just picking up a small trash.
