A Quarter of Challenges and Growth

Image
As I reflect on the past quarter, I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Despite the challenges I faced, I was able to overcome them and grow as a student.           Time management was a major challenge for me. With so many responsibilities, I struggled to balance everything and make time for self-care. However, by prioritizing my tasks and setting achievable goals, I was able to better manage my time and reduce stress.           Staying motivated in my classes was also a challenge. This helped me to better understand the material and retain information.           I'm extremely proud of my accomplishments in in (ICT). I worked harder than usual, and my quizzes refl...

Starting Fresh: My Journey to a New Year, New Me

Image
As the new year approaches, many of us are thinking about the changes we want to make in our lives. Whether it's getting in shape, studying harder, or being more organized, the start of a new year is the perfect time to set goals and make a fresh start. And as a student, I know that there's no better time than now to set my sights on success.      As I look back on the past year, I can't help but feel a sense of disappointment. I didn't do as well as I had hoped in some of my classes, and I didn't make the most of my free time. But instead of dwelling on the past, I'm choosing to focus on the future. I'm determined to make this year different.      One of my main goals for the new year is to improve my grades. I know that I'm capable of getting good grades, but I haven't been putting in the work. I'm going to start by setting a schedule for studying and sticking to it. I'll make sure to set aside time each day...

Jingle All the Way: A Christmas Celebration

Image
One of the most iconic symbols of Christmas in the Philippines are the parols, or lanterns. These colorful decorations are typically made from bamboo or plastic and are shaped like a star, representing the star of Bethlehem. They come in various sizes and designs, from simple to intricate. Many Filipino families and communities make their own parols as a family tradition, while others buy them from local markets. The parols are not only used to decorate homes and streets, but also used in religious processions and even in competitions.           But what I love most about Christmas in the Philippines is the time spent with family. We gather around the table for a big feast and catch up on the year's events. It's a time to put aside our differences and come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus.           Christmas in the Philippines is also known for its long-lasting cele...
